My name is Dommenique DeVaughn. I created Handled Professional Services, LLC for women who are restarting, rebuilding, and learning how to trust themselves again. Women who are strong—but tired. Faithful—but searching. Capable—but unsure of what comes next. This is a space for clarity, courage, and coming back to yourself. Whether you are reentering the workforce, rebuilding your life or business, reconnecting with your faith, or searching for your roots, you are welcome here.
My Story
I am a purpose-driven woman whose life’s work is rooted in restoration, empowerment, and faith in action. I am a teacher, a builder, an author, and a storyteller who transforms hard-earned lessons into tools that help others rise again.

I am the founder of Handled Professional Services, LLC, where I teach people how to rebuild their confidence, craft their comeback, and pursue meaningful work. I’m also the heart behind Lady DeVaughn Speaks—a voice of encouragement for women learning how to start over—and the visionary behind Changing Ourselves Actively & Productively (COAP RESOURCES), a nonprofit born from deep compassion for underserved and justice-involved women.

I am a follower of Christ whose faith isn’t theoretical—it’s lived. I live it out in service, in small rural communities, in moments of humility and humor, in marriage, and in words meant to uplift those who feel unseen. I carry the lessons of my past—from classrooms and congregations to challenges and callings—and I weave them into stories, reflections, and messages that remind others: you can start again, and God is still writing your story.

With more than twenty-seven years of experience as an educator, I bring both professional excellence and heartfelt empathy into every space I enter. As an author, I write to heal, to testify, and to remind women that their stories matter. As a wife, I know that rebuilding isn’t just personal—it’s relational, daily, and deeply human.
I believe in second chances, sacred restarts, and the kind of growth that honors both grace and grit.
I am creative, resilient, detail-minded, deeply introspective, and unafraid to do the work—in business, ministry, and personal healing. My life is living proof that when one chapter closes, another—often more powerful—is just beginning.
